Joyce Furney
Kansas artist Joyce Furney’s intent is to capture the flow of the universe within each Raku piece. Balance and harmony are the essence to her; this was also the philosophy of Zen Buddhist Monks of the 16th century who are attributed with creating Raku pottery. Raku is also known for its rich metallic colors.
Ole Fish House Pottery
Byron and Georgia Knight started working in clay while studying ceramics in North Carolina. Using both hand built and wheel thrown techniques, each piece is handcrafted and individually formed from stoneware clay giving the work its delicate porcelain appearance while maintaining the sturdiness of stoneware.
Campbell Pottery
After thirty years of producing beautiful pottery, Bill Campbell’s work is easily identified. His porcelain is admired for its spectacular color and crisp form. The glazes shimmer with surprising vibrancy in unexpected patterns. Functional art best describes each piece.

Randy Wesner & Marna Glover Krueger
Randy and Marna have been glass artists individually for the past twenty five years. Recently they have come together, combining their individual skills and artistic ability to create the glass art shown here.
Rooted in stained glass and accustomed to the combining of cut glass pieces to produce an image. Their work now concentrate on the use of color and form to obtain the desired affect. Randy creates his own blend of glass colors through a technique called aperture pour, melting glass through a crucible onto a kiln shelf. Marna uses strip construction and a technique called combing to create linear patterns and designs.
The inclusion of the above techniques into their designs create a sense of movement and excitement, each piece is unique in itself, with surprising affects when a spot of dichroic or a wire-drop is added.
Truly works of worldclass art their collaboration is just beginning to bring the awards and praise their work is so deserving of.
