Northern Lights Gallery will host a Carthage College Student Art Exhibition on Saturday, February 27,  from 6-9 p.m.  The exhibition entitled  “Carthage Stars” will include the works of four 2-D artists, Jen Nichols, Sarah Starling, Katie Ramirez and Stacey Rosenwinkel.   Stacey, Studio Arts Major has gained experience at Northern Lights  Gallery as an Intern during the summer of 2009, continuing her work experience at the Gallery,  and is the coordinator of the Exhibit.

Artwork will be juried by Chet Griffith, Artist and owner of Art Works in Kenosha.   Chet  will award the Best of Show and attendees of the exhibition will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite and winner will receive the Peoples Choice Award.

While meeting and talking with the Students, enjoy the Classical Sounds of Music Major Sean Knudson.

Northern Lights Gallery will be holding a Reception for Kenosha Photo Artist Joe Barr during Gallery Night Saturday, February 6,  from 6 to 9 p.m.   Joe captures the beauty of florals in a way you will believe it is the real thing.

Art Auction for Hatian Relief Fund

Northern Lights Gallery will be participating in an Art Auction being held during Gallery Night.   The blown glass vessel to be auctioned  is an original Adam Jablonski piece.  Jablonski is the winner of twelve gold medal awards in International Exhibitions. Northern Lights is contributing the entire proceeds from the auction of this piece to the Haitian relief fund.
